Got the pleasure of helping this little lady get back to her family today after escaping during fire alarm testing. Her family is so relieved to have her back safely at home - all thanks to having their microchip info up to date.

Take this as a reminder to check your pets microchip registration information to make sure your phone number and address are up to date. And if your pet isn’t microchipped, schedule that immediately. If you are unable to get your pet microchipped, reach out and we’ll help with that. 💜

Our November Rescue of the Month is and they are doing the kind of work that changes everything it touches.

Since 2014, PFL has been pairing rescue dogs with incarcerated trainers inside California prisons. The dogs learn how to trust, how to listen, how to be loved. The trainers find purpose, patience, and a reason to believe in themselves again. Both walk out changed. It’s a model PFL pioneered, and one that has since spread to prisons across the state.

But their work doesn’t stop there. They offer free, unlimited training to any dog parent who needs it. They run a program devoted to senior dogs no one else is fighting for. They place service dogs with veterans and first responders. Every program is built around the same belief: rescue is a relationship, not a transaction.
And right now, they have so many incredible dogs waiting for the home that’s meant for them. Check the slides for just 6 of their adorable we want you to meet.

🐾 Our Rescue of the Month for April is 🐾

Most rescues see a medical case and move on. sees a dog worth fighting for.
LA-based and female-run, I Stand With My Pack pulls dogs from high-risk kill shelters across LA City and LA County — especially the ones with serious medical needs that other rescues won’t touch. From broken bones to neurological conditions, they show up, fund the care, and stay the course until every dog finds their forever home. In 10 years, they’ve rescued and placed thousands of lives. That’s not a rescue — that’s a movement.

Swipe to meet some of the dogs currently available for adoption:
🐾 Timmy: World class wrinkly snuggle bug
🐾 Frida: Just wants to be with her person
🐾 Hercules: A big wrinkly boy who loves to shower his person with affection
🐾 Finley: 10 week old adventure buddy who loves to snuggle
🐾 Quinn: 10 week old sweet & gentle girl who loves livestock
🐾 London: 10 week old confident & fearless leader

The good boys and girls at the just got a little happier! We donated a bag filled with 17 brand new dog toys and 5 bags of treats to the pups in their care — because the spcaLA team works every day to give animals a second chance at life. There are so many wonderful dogs available for adoption right now - could one of them be your new best friend? 💜💜💜

A gentle reminder for anyone who wants to support rescue work. 💜 Please share!

Rescuers pour everything they have into this. Late nights, last-minute scrambles, holding it together so dogs don’t fall through the cracks. It’s hard, heart driven work, and small acts of follow through from the community make an enormous difference.

If you’ve pledged - honor it. If you’ve committed to foster or transport - follow through. If something comes up, give notice as soon as you can so a backup plan can be made. Lives depend on it.

Not sure how else to help? Share posts. Tag your people. Verify before you donate. These things take seconds and mean the world to the people doing this work.

The Good Boy Foundation exists to support the rescuers and shelters showing up every day for animals who need us. This is us showing up for them.

We’re so heartbroken by everything going on with the Rock N Paws Animal Rescue situation. There’s a lot of different information floating around, but the one thing we can be 100% sure of is that ultimately, the animals will pay the price for this. So many organizations have come together to help in every way they can and we’re proud to make a $500 donation to for their incredible response - they’ve taken in 109 of the 250 dogs, according to an update shared by Sunday evening. This effort not only protects the incoming dogs, but it also protects the dogs that would have otherwise had to go to one of the county shelters that were already overwhelmed and preparing to euthanize perfectly good dogs to make space for these animals as evidence holds.

THANK YOU to everyone who is working quadruple overtime to keep as many lives safe as possible. 💜

At the adoption event for , I had the *absolute* pleasure of being Eddie’s person for the day. And boy let me tell you - this little meatball is an angel on earth. He gives great face kisses, is polite on leash, likes to sit on your feet, likes to play tug, loves everyone and is just a lover of love. Edward The Great is an absolute dreamboat and he’s up for adoption.

Eddie had a horrific life before .tuccio and rescued him from skid row. Eddie was neglected and abused by humans, attacked multiple times, used for breeding, used for fighting as a bait dog. He was discarded like trash. His parents are littermates. He is just a baby at about 2-3 years old.

I also want to note that the following individuals were encouraged and invited to attend the adoption event to meet some of the dogs this organization is saving because they’re not doing their job and are ignoring the rampant abuses going on in ski row - did not show up. Shame on all of them for continuing to ignore the horrors animals are facing there.
