The Art Pavilion is a fixture of the Central Avenue Jazz Festival, celebrating its 11th year. Curated by La Mancha Gallery, this installation highlights talented local artists who bring the vibrant Central Avenue Jazz community to life through art and storytelling.

This year’s pavilion featured works by:
LP Aekili Ross, Bart Ross, Skira Martinez, Mohammed Mubarak, EnkOne (Live Painter), Jimmy Velarde, Colleene Daugharty, Wendell Wiggins, Leonardo Aguirre (Chalk Artist), Buena Johnson, Liliflor, Riea Owens, Kenneth Gatewood, Mike Norice, Philippe Previl, Nate Williams, Ramesess, Diana Shannon Young, Bakari Santos, and Aziz Diagne.

Ennis Harris & Takumi Kakimoto join the 30th Annual Central Avenue Jazz Festival! Ennis Harris, acclaimed saxophonist, flutist, composer, and arranger, has performed with symphonies, big bands, and artists like Metro Boomin, earning awards including the BMI Composer Award. Takumi Kakimoto, an award-winning pianist and composer, blends jazz, classical, and orchestral arranging, with credits including the Quincy Jones Symphonic and performances with renowned ballet companies. Together, they are bringing a dynamic and unforgettable experience to our stage!

Reflecting on CAJF 2024! We were honored to welcome Grammy-nominated vocalist and composer Carmen Lundy to the Central Avenue Jazz Festival last year. With a career spanning more than four decades, she has become one of jazz’s most distinctive voices. We’re proud to celebrate jazz legends like Carmen Lundy and we’re counting down the days until we do it all again this year! Don’t forget to join us NEXT Saturday!
