A Community Place

A Community Place ACP is a student-run social service organization at USC! We are a student-run group dedicated to helping the homeless and the working poor in the USC area.

We provide lunches, bus tokens, taxi vouchers, referrals, and a friendly smile! We distribute lunches every Monday from 12-1pm and Wednesdays from 12-1pm at St. Mark's Lutheran Church (across the street from USC Gate 6). Lunch packing is Friday 11am-12pm, also at St. Mark's.

Hello everyone! Welcome back to a new year at USC and A Community Place!

Lunch packing (Fridays 11am-12pm) will resume this Friday on 9/9/16, and Lunch distribution (Monday 12-1pm & Wednesday 12-1pm) will resume on 9/12/16.

Hello volunteers!

The semester is coming to an end and we wanted to let you all know the schedule of events for the next few weeks:
Last day for distribution: Wednesday 4/27
Last Thursday lunch packing date: 4/14
Last Thursday community garden volunteering: 4/21

WE WILL ALSO BE HAVING A CELEBRATION TO THANK ALL OF OUR GREAT VOLUNTEERS ON 4/21. Please stop by to relax and enjoy some snacks as well!!!

One of ACP's partners, USC Ansar Service Partnership, is hosting a blood drive next Wednesday on Jan 27 from 10AM-3:30PM

If you are available and able, please consider stopping by to donate blood to patients who have blood disorders or are recovering from cancer treatment.

HAPPY FRIDAY TROJANS!!!

We hope you had a nice winter break and a happy new year!

This semester's time and dates are:
Monday 11-1PM (lunch distribution)
Wednesday 2-3PM (lunch distribution)
Thursday 5-6PM (lunch packing + gardening)

ACP will be returning the week of 18th, with our first distribution date being Monday the 18th and weekly from there on.
