The CFC will be hosting a special Writer's Workshop with special Guest Writer Brian Groh. His 2024 CFC entrant "Somebody Cares" took the Grand Jury Runner-Up prize and Best Writing Award. The film continued its journey to become an official selection at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Brian will share what he has learned during past CFCs and provide suggestions on how writers can position themselves for success at CFC by being fully prepared for when the quote drops at the kick-off party.  Join us on the Discord on either:

Somebody Cares (2024) from filmmaker Julien Lasseur. The film was awarded the Runner Up for the Grand Jury Prize. Brian Groh won the award for Best Writing. And Shawn Parsons won the Runner-Up award for Best Actor in a Comedic Role. Watch it here:
