A short film competition about creativity and collaboration. Make a movie in two weeks with the help of fellow filmmakers, and compete for huge prizes.

The CFC is a one-of-a-kind Los Angeles film contest in its 10th year! Work together with other filmmakers and make your own short in two weeks. Are you a writer in search of a shooter? An editor looking for a director? Don’t worry- we help you find the people you need to execute your vision! On May 17th, we release the Theme Quote meant to inspire this year’s movies. Over the next two weeks, you and your collaborators make your movie, and you help at least one other filmmaker with theirs. Then we screen our jury-selected finalists in front of a packed house of industry members- and our esteemed judges- and hand out over $20,000 in cash and prizes.
