Months after Hurricane Melissa, families in Jamaica are still surrounded by debris and struggling to rebuild.

CORE first responded in the country following Hurricane Beryl in 2024 and once again in response to Melissa. Our debris removal program not only helps clear neighborhoods; it also has the added benefit of giving income-generating opportunities to community members who want to join the recovery efforts.
