Legacy College Prep recently welcomed U.S. Congressman Lou Correa to campus!

He toured the school, met with students, and got to know the Legacy community firsthand.

Congressman Correa, who represents California's 46th Congressional District, talked with students about their college plans and their growing involvement in civic life and community service.

The visit also opened the door to new opportunities for Legacy students through his office, including internships, leadership programs, and the Congressional App Challenge.

Congressman Correa’s visit is a reminder of what's possible when local leaders show up for students!

USC Hybrid High College Prep turned 14 this year, and the Trojan Student Government threw a Toy Story-themed Fun Fest to celebrate!

Students played games, grabbed good food, and danced to music between turns on the water slide. The real crowd-pleaser was the dunk tank, where staff lined up to get soaked.

Days like this build the kind of trust that carries our students and families through the harder parts of the college prep journey, the late nights, the tough classes, all of it. It's a reminder that this school is home.

Happy 14th birthday, USC Hybrid High! Here's to many more Fun Fests.

Meet Tyra, a junior at USC Hybrid High and this year's Coro California Youth Fellow!

Tyra is president of Hybrid High's tennis club and runs track and cross country. She spent her summer building real leadership skills through Coro California's Youth Fellows Program.

As part of the program, she worked with the City of LA's Youth Development Department, where she helped look at application trends for its Youth Leadership Council and explored ways to get more students from underrepresented districts involved.

Partnerships like this one are part of how Ednovate connects students to real opportunities outside the classroom that open doors to leadership experience, mentorship, and a head start on their future.

Tyra's planning for a career in law or politics, and summers like this one are helping her build the skills to get there.

We're so proud of Tyra, and we know this is just the beginning for her!
