Kids Like Me provides after-school classes, clubs, activities, and camps for children with autism spectrum disorders and other special needs.

ALL KIDS need opportunities to have fun, connect with others, learn new skills, make friends and enjoy a sense of belonging... that's what Kids Like Me is all about!

Bright Star Martial Arts will be leading a Kids Like Me after-school program for 8 weeks this fall! Classes will take place Wednesdays at 4 pm for independent functioning children and young adults, and at 4:45 pm for those with moderate support needs. Ages 6-16.

Campers had a SWEET time at camp making ice cream! Village Glen campers practiced their listening skills as they 1) prepped the ice cream 2) rolled it around in an icy ball and 3) ate it! The experience also exercised their fine motor skills and sensory exploration of taste, touch, and smell!

Teens on the Go is one of Kids Like Me’s summer camps. The program is for teens ages 14 to 17 with age-appropriate independent functioning. During the week of August 7, campers will be visiting Santa Monica Pier, Aquarium of the Pacific, and Lake Balboa, among others!
