Every August, A New Way of Life Reentry Project works to provide the women living in our safe homes the opportunity to attend an annual 12-step recovery convention. This year's convention will allow our residents the chance to connect with others in recovery throughout the nation.

After years of incarceration, a space for reflection and healing is greatly needed. It's so important for them to be able to solidify their efforts to embrace sobriety as a valued lifestyle and foundation for building a new way of life.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the SAFE Housing Network’s commitment to providing housing and support for formerly incarcerated women-aligned, nonbinary, and trans-women.

Most reentry programs are built for cisgender men and don’t take into account the complex demands individuals face. It is vital to have gender-sensitive housing and services in place for them when they come home.

We honor those breaking barriers and reclaiming their lives. True justice means liberation or all.

Congratulations to the graduates of Career Bridge Initiative Cohort 8! Thanks to the Workforce team’s personalized and heartfelt support, each graduate set ambitious goals and achieved them. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see what they accomplish next. We marked this milestone with delicious soul food and took time to honor every unique achievement. While their CBI journey has ended, the knowledge gained and the meaningful connections built will carry them forward into their next chapter. We couldn’t be prouder!
