Our Ventura County members descended on the Board of Supervisors yesterday to demand a solution to internal pay inequities for hundreds of members. They sent a strong message to the CEO that the County must negotiate for workers to be paid a fair salary for their experience and ability.

Members from across the Tri-Counties region gathered in solidarity at the Family Fun Day held in Santa Paula. The festivities were kicked off by SEIU 721 President David Green, SEIU 721 Vice President Simboa Wright, SEIU 721 Chief of Staff Gilda Valdez, and SEIU 721 Executive Board members from across the Local. Members and families had fun with arts and crafts, raffles, games, and good food. When we stand together, we win!

SEIU 721 members showed out on Monday to 721 HQ to share their thoughts on the reshaping of LA County government required by Measure G — a ballot measure passed in 2024 that expands the LA County Board of Supervisors and creates a new elected County Executive position. 721 members’ input on how Measure G is implemented will be crucial going forward!
