Peter Main touched the leather community in so many different ways.
Some knew him personally, some took his classes, some read his books, some admired his incredible art, and some were fortunate enough to call him a friend.
This beautiful page gives all of us a place to remember Peter, share a memory, leave our mark, see his incredible leatherwork, and see moments from his life shared by family and friends. It also provides funeral information and a livestream for those unable to attend.
Our deepest condolences and prayers are with Peter’s children, family, friends, and everyone mourning his loss.

This Sunday August 16th is our Bi-Monthly meeting of The Leathercraft Guild at Standing Bear's Trading Post located at 7624 Tampa Avenue, Reseda, CA. from 1PM-4PM. During this month's meeting Wayne will be doing a leathercraft demonstration on laying out a Meander-Serpentine Stamp for your leatherwork.
The public is welcome to attend.
Please park in the back and come in the back door for the meeting as the store is only open to those in attendance for the meeting. Hope to see you all there!

Join us for the June 2026 Meeting of The Leathercraft Guild!
Come spend the afternoon with us on Sunday, June 14th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Standing Bear's Trading Post, Leather by WC, 7624 Tampa Avenue, Reseda, CA 91335.
We'll begin with our business meeting, followed by Show & Tell, a door prize drawing, and a hands-on braiding workshop presented by Dave.
If you RSVP'd for the workshop, please bring a pair of scissors and a lacing fid. If you don't have these items, tools will be available to borrow, and a limited number of lacing fids will be available for purchase.
Please remember to park in back and use the back entrance when arriving.
Everyone interested in leathercraft is welcome!

Another great afternoon of leathercraft, fellowship, show and tell, and project sharing at Standing Bear's Trading Post, Leather by WC during the May meeting of The Leathercraft Guild
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the meeting another enjoyable gathering for the guild. We always appreciate seeing the creativity and craftsmanship our members and guests bring each month.

Please note an important change to The Leathercraft Guild meeting schedule beginning June 2026.
Moving forward, the guild will now meet EVERY OTHER MONTH on the third Sunday from 1PM to 4PM at Standing Bears Trading Post in Reseda.
Our updated meeting months will be:
February, April, June, August, October, December
Please note that the June meeting will be held on the SECOND Sunday, June 14th, to allow members time to celebrate Fathers Day with family.
We appreciate everyone who continues to support the guild and look forward to many more afternoons of leathercraft fellowship.
