Graduation is a day to celebrate the work they put in — and the doors that start opening from here.

Did you know?

Every participant at ManifestWorks is paired with a coach – someone who works in the industry and meets with them each week in small groups.

From week 3 on, those sessions become a space to:

⭐ ask questions they might not feel comfortable asking in a bigger group
⭐ get honest feedback
⭐ stay on track with expectations and benchmarks
⭐ and have someone in their corner who wants to see them succeed

As Ric (Director, ManifestWorks Board Member + coach!) puts it:

He’s a little like “mom” in the group…making sure everyone’s doing what they need to do, while helping them get where they want to go.

Thank you for all that you do! You’re not a regular mom, you’re a cool mom 😉

Every class at ManifestWorks looks a little different – but it always goes deeper than just learning how to work as a PA on set.�
⬇️ Here’s a look at week 6!�
The team at First Entertainment Credit Union joined us to walk through the basics of financial literacy:�
– How to open a bank account
– What makes a credit union different
– What direct deposit is
– Why it matters�
For many participants, this is information they haven’t had access to before, but it’s necessary once you’re working and managing your own income.�
🥗 After lunch, the focus shifted to the production side.�
Location Manager Kelly Harris broke down:�
🌇 How locations work across film, TV, commercial, and still shoots
📽️ What that role looks like on set

Exposure to roles like this helps participants start to see the different paths they can take as they move forward in the industry.

Getting someone on set is just the start. What matters is having the tools and support to keep going.

Say hi to Myah, our new Program Coordinator 👋✨

Myah jumped in right as cohort kicked off, so she’s getting the full ManifestWorks experience from day one.

🎓 She’s most excited to see participants graduate (us too!)
🎨 When she’s not at class, she’s making pottery out of air dry clay
🍿 She loves watching movies — her favorite movie is Coraline
