Another WISE woman leading the way! 💙🏐

Congratulations to 2014 WISE LA Women of Inspiration honoree and WISE LA Board Member Lindsay Amstutz on being named President of MLV Los Angeles!

With more than 20 years of experience in professional sports, Lindsay brings an incredible depth of leadership to her new role as she helps build the future of professional women’s volleyball in Los Angeles.

The celebrations continued as Lindsay joined MLV NorCal General Manager E. Ashley Dean-Gulbranson, former WISE LA President, and MLV Commissioner Jaime Weston at Chargers Training Camp this week.

Join WISE Los Angeles for Money. Mindset. Pickleball., the next event in our Financial Fitness Series, featuring Financial Advisor Alexandra Contreras of Finances by Alex.

Alexandra will break down the building blocks of a strong financial future, from creating a financial plan and emergency fund to protecting your income, investing early, planning for retirement, and building generational wealth. She’ll also explore the difference between simply saving money and putting your money to work toward your long-term goals.

Then, we’ll take the conversation to the court for pickleball and an evening of connection with the WISE LA community.

Applications are officially open for the 2026 Jerilyn Jones Scholarship!

Created to honor the legacy of Jerilyn Jones, the scholarship creates access, connection and opportunity for early-career Black and African-American women building careers in the sports industry.

This year, WISE LA will award two scholarships, with each recipient receiving:

• One year of WISE LA professional membership
• Complimentary admission to WISE LA events
• Guaranteed placement in the WISE Within Mentorship Program
• Informational interviews with a sports industry executive and WISE LA Board Member
• Recognition during Women of Inspiration and through WISE LA platforms

The goal is bigger than a single year of support. It’s about helping emerging professionals build meaningful relationships, confidence and career momentum within the Los Angeles sports industry.
