GABRIELA LA is a member organization of GABRIELA USA, an overseas chapter of GABRIELA (General Assembly Binding Women for Reforms, Integrity, Equality, Leadership, and Action). GABRIELA is the largest and most militant women’s alliance that is working for genuine democracy and freedom in the Philippines. GABRIELA LA’s membership is open to women of various ages of Philippine descent, including those who are migrants, immigrants and US-born. We recognize Filipinas of mixed heritage and adoptees. GABRIELA LA is for LGBTIQ-(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, and Q***r/Questioning) organization that is inclusive of gender-non conforming people of Philippine descent. GABRIELA LA’s membership is committed to educating, organizing, and mobilizing the un-served and under-served populations, including working class people, im/migrants, people with disabilities, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues.
