TOMORROW! FREE Workshop & Session- Sponsored by TCA🔥
Versa-Style Street Dance Company X Jukebox🤝🏾

We’re excited to be collaborating with our The Jukebox Grounds | Jukebox Family family in Arizona, CA!

•Saturday, October 10th
12:00pm- 1:30pm- Versa-Style Cypher Experience Workshop

Step into the cypher! Led by Miss Funk & Breeze-Lee, alongside additional members of Versa-Style Street Dance Company, this immersive workshop brings the classroom into the heart of the cypher through call-and-response, movement, music, and exchange.

Students will rotate through multiple Versa-Style company members, each sharing their unique field of focus, dance style, musicality, and personal approach to movement. Rather than leaving with just one concept or style, dancers will experience multiple voices, perspectives, and ways of connecting to the music, gaining a fuller understanding of what it means to dance, listen, respond, and share within a cypher.

1:30pm-3:30pm- Open Community Session

•FREE and open to everyone!

Come dance and connect with us! We hope to see you there!🙌🏽

This workshop is supported by City of Tempe Arts + Culture/ Tempe Center for the Arts. This project is also supported in part by a grant from the Arizona Commission on the Arts, an agency of the State of Arizona.

Professional Development for the Next Generation of Hip Hop & Street Dance Educators 🕺🏻✨

This past weekend, Versa-Style Legacy members Leonardo Flores , Aubrey Siga Mamaid , AryLOVE👑❤ , and Milagritos Godina led a professional development session for our youth program, Versa-Style Next Generation.

With 30 young dancers eager to learn what it means to become teaching artists, the day was filled with learning, reflection, connection, and inspiration. We’re so excited to watch this next generation plant their own seeds, grow as leaders, and continue to share Hip Hop and Street Dance with lots of love, care, and authenticity.

The future of Hip Hop and Street Dance culture in academia is bright, and it’s in good hands!🫶🏼

Lead Facilitator:
Leo “Inner-G” Flores

Supporting Facilitators:
Aubrey “Siga” Mamaid
Aryeal “AryLove” Lands
Milagritos “Floetic” Godina

Huge thank you to Ready For Change for helping make lunch possible!
