Call Directions Website

PJC Friars

No one is born ready for mission, but every heart can learn to say “yes.”
Every vocation begins with availability and grows through daily faithfulness.
Perhaps the next step is yours. 🌍

God speaks in the streets, and only those who choose to stop to listen can hear Him.
In the rush of the world, God calls us to go down to meet those who have often gone unnoticed, unseen.
In the end, after each mission, we always return different and with many lessons learned. 🔥

10/06/2026

Mission begins when we choose not to stay.
Christ’s “Go” still echoes today.
To move beyond comfort, to cross indifference, and to reach hearts: this is how the Gospel comes alive.
You can also be part of this response. 🔥

Saint Francis made himself small to reveal the greatness of God.
By embracing poverty, he encountered Christ Himself.
It is this concrete love that continues to move us, from the wounds of the world to the streets of Los Angeles.
To become a mirror of God begins with a willing heart. 🤍

On the night when everything was surrendered, we contemplate Saint Francis returning his life to the Father. A witness of one who lived without holding anything back, until the end.
Today, we are also called to trust, to surrender, and to remain.
Pray with us on this night of the Transitus

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle.

Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel, and Saint Raphael were given different missions, but all three were at the service of God.
Saint Michael reminds us of the fight against evil. Saint Gabriel, of announcing God’s will. Saint Raphael, of care and companionship along the way.
Three different missions, one same direction: to serve God.
Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel, and Saint Raphael, pray for us. 🤍
