📣 We have an update on Shania Twain & Reba McEntire! 📣

Since introducing these beautiful girls, we’ve had the chance to learn even more about them—and one thing has become crystal clear:

💛Shania Twain and Reba McEntire are a bonded pair and will need to be adopted together💛

When they first arrived in rescue, we weren’t sure whether they would ultimately be placed separately or together. As they’ve settled in, they’ve shown us just how much they rely on one another for comfort, confidence, and companionship.

We know Shania (approx. 4 years old) and Reba (approx. 2 years old) are related, and we believe Shania is Reba’s mom, making their bond even more special. These beautiful girls have spent their entire lives side by side, and we’d love to keep it that way. 🐶🐶

At 87 and 80 pounds, they’re big dogs with even bigger hearts. They love people, enjoy other dogs, and are happiest when they’re included in whatever their humans are doing—whether that’s a walk around the neighborhood, a weekend adventure, or an evening curled up on the couch.

While they wait for their forever family, they’re receiving training and socialization at Doggie Disneyland , where they’re thriving and continuing to learn the skills that will help them succeed in their next chapter.

These sweet Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mixes (our best guess!) are still looking for their forever home—and we now know that home needs to welcome both of them. 🐾🐾

We know adopting two large dogs is a big commitment, but we also know the right family is out there. And trust us—getting double the love is worth it.

🚨 Meet Patches 🚨

Patches is a 1-year-old “supposedly” golden mix weighing 55 pounds. We’ve been told her mom was a Golden Retriever and her dad may have been a Dalmatian… but honestly, we can’t confirm any of that 😂 What we can confirm is that she is 100% GOOD DOG.

You may have already heard about Patches through our recent posts about her sister, Sophia ❤️‍🩹 The girls came into rescue together after spending their lives side by side living as outdoor yard dogs, and while Sophia’s medical story first brought them to us, we quickly fell in love with sweet Patches too and jumped at the opportunity to help them both.

What we know about Patches so far:
🐾 Loves being around other dogs
🍗 Very food motivated and excited to learn (chicken is definitely the way to her heart)
🏕️ Would make an amazing hiking, running, or camping buddy
🎓 Still learning her manners and indoor dog life, but incredibly eager to learn
🎉 Already making wonderful progress with leash walking and confidence

So many experiences are still brand new to Patches, but she has approached everything with curiosity, sweetness, and a willingness to learn. She takes comfort in being close to her people and is looking for a family committed to continuing her training while showing her all the love, adventures, and cozy moments she has missed out on until now.

Patches and Sophia do not need to be adopted together, but they are very fond of each other and have always been one another’s source of comfort 🤍 It would truly be a dream come true if we were able to find them a home together.

For the first time in her life, Patches is finally getting to experience the simple things every dog deserves — sleeping inside, learning routines, going on walks, receiving affection, and beginning to discover what being part of a family feels like instead of simply watching the world from a yard. Every day she is discovering something new, and it has been incredibly special watching her slowly learn what love, comfort, and safety feel like

🚨 Meet Sophia 🚨

Sophia is a very special 1-year-old golden mix weighing 52 pounds, and although she has already endured more pain and discomfort in her short life than any dog ever should, her heart is still just as gentle, loving, and full of hope 💛

After spending her entire life in a dirt yard alongside her sister, Patches, both girls are now safe with us. We welcomed them into rescue together to begin this next chapter side by side

Sophia was born with severe deformities in all four of her paws, including missing toes, missing bones in some of the toes she does have, and misshapen nails that grow in different directions and dig painfully into her feet. Because of this, she has spent her young life living in constant pain ❤️‍🩹

The very talented at believes surgery can greatly improve Sophia’s comfort and quality of life. While Sophia may never walk perfectly normally and probably won’t be training for marathons, don’t underestimate this girl — she already gets around better than you’d think, and we are hopeful these procedures will help her live a more comfortable life

While Sophia’s healing journey may take a little longer, Patches will likely be ready for adoption sooner. They are very close, but do not need to be adopted together — Sophia is perfectly happy cheering her sister on while she continues her own healing journey 🐾

More than anything, she deserves the chance to finally know what it feels like to be properly cared for and deeply loved as part of a family 🤍

🐾National Rescue Dog Day 🐾

This National Rescue Dog Day, we kept thinking about something simple: what these dogs deserve.

Not just food, shelter, or safety — they deserve the little things too. Slow mornings. Cozy couches. Belly rubs. Adventures. Someone who celebrates birthdays, takes too many photos, and never makes them wonder where they belong again.

Each of these dogs is safe now, and being rescued was the first step.

Now they’re waiting to be chosen.

🚨 Meet Parker Rose 🚨

This beautiful 7-year-old golden girl weighs about 64 pounds and has already been stealing hearts since arriving in rescue 💛

Parker Rose came to us after being surrendered to a shelter due to allergies in her previous home, and we were more than happy to scoop this lovely girl up right away

She’s already enjoying making new friends and has apparently picked out her rescue boyfriend too — our big handsome boy Bubba 🤍 (And yes… Bubba is still available too 👀)

What we know about Parker Rose so far:
🎀 Walks beautifully on leash
🐾 Friendly girl who enjoys meeting other dogs
⭐ One of our volunteers (and professional dog trainer!) described her in one simple word: “perfect”
🌷 Sweet, gentle soul ready for a fresh start and forever love

As she gets ready for her forever home, Parker is getting some extra TLC from our friends at , where she’ll be enjoying a little spa day to help remove some mats and pesky foxtails and make sure she’s feeling her very best

She has all the qualities everyone hopes to find — beauty, sweetness, and a heart of gold 💛 We have a feeling she won’t be waiting long, and we know there’s a very lucky family out there just waiting to meet her.
