❤️🐾 SUZIE Q🐾❤️

Please give a warm welcome to Suzie Q, our newest addition to rescue! This beautiful 3-year-old girl weighs 57 pounds but needs to gain at least 10 more pounds to reach a healthy weight. 💛

Suzie Q was found as a stray and ended up in a shelter. Thankfully, she’s now safe with us and getting the nutritious meals, care, and love she deserves!

And let us tell you, this girl is something special! Her skin has already improved remarkably, and with continued care and good nutrition, we can’t wait to see her blossom into the beautiful, healthy girl she’s meant to be. She’s also a classic golden girl, doing wonderfully with the people and dogs she’s met so far! 🥹❤️

Suzie Q deserves a forever family who will cherish her, spoil her, and give her the wonderful life every dog deserves. Her brighter days are here, and we can’t wait to find her happily-ever-after! 🏡🐶

🖤 Black Beauty🖤
With National Black Dog Day being today, we couldn’t think of a better girl to celebrate than our gorgeous Black Beauty! 🖤🐾
This beautiful 4-year-old is every bit as resilient, regal, and loving as her namesake.
Black Beauty was surrendered to a shelter by a family who could no longer care for her. She arrived emaciated, and the shelter immediately began providing the food and medical care she desperately needed. But she wasn’t thriving in the shelter, so they asked us to continue her journey, and of course, we said YES! ❤️
Her transformation has been spectacular! Her gorgeous coat is growing back, she’s filling out beautifully, her spirits are brighter, and we’re seeing more of her joyful personality every day. 🥰
And this girl LOVES other dogs! Every dog she meets is a potential new playmate. She loves walks, greets everyone with a smile, and has excellent house manners in her foster home.
There is simply nothing not to love about this amazing girl. ❤️
Black Beauty has been through enough. Now it’s time for her to have the wonderful forever home she deserves.
🖤 Celebrate National Black Dog Day by sharing Black Beauty and helping her find her happily ever after! 🐾

🐾❤️ MEET DAHLIA! ❤️🐾
This beautiful 8-year-old, 75-pound girl has been through more than any dog should.
In June, Dahlia was one of dozens of animals rescued from a property in Rancho Santa Fe where they had been horribly neglected. She arrived at the shelter severely underweight, with much of her fur missing and badly matted.
The shelter reached out to rescues for help—and GRCGLA Rescue was the ONLY rescue that stepped up for Dahlia.❤️
She may not be a purebred Golden, but she was a dog who needed us, and we couldn’t leave her behind.
Now look at her! 🥰 Dahlia is loving life—going for walks, feeling grass under her paws, and showing everyone just how much s***k and zest for life this senior girl has!
Dahlia is ready for a family who will love her, spoil her, and give her the wonderful life she deserves. ❤️🐾
A huge thank you to the shelter staff and volunteers who helped save Dahlia and so many other animals and gave them a chance at a much brighter future.
Dahlia is ready for her happily ever after! 💕

💕🐾 LISA MARIE! 🐾💕
This beautiful girl has been through a lot, and she’s more than ready to leave her shelter days behind and find the family she’s been waiting for. 🥹❤️

Lisa Marie is a 2-year-old, 65-pound Golden Retriever mix who found herself in a shelter and then had to recover from kennel cough. But despite everything, this sweet girl is still full of love and ready for her next chapter. 🏡🐶

She LOVES her walks, giving kisses, getting belly rubs, and simply being close to her people. ❤️ She’s the kind of girl who just wants someone to love her, spoil her, and finally show her what it means to be home.

Now all Lisa Marie needs is her person. 🥹💕

🐾❤️ MEET ASH! ❤️🐾

Having been relinquished by his old family, Ash is ready to start his next chapter with his forever home!

Right now he’s living his best life at Doggie Disneyland 🐶🎉, running, playing, and making friends in group play every day. Watching this happy, affectionate boy thrive has been pure joy. (And yes… we know he’s not exactly a classic Golden Retriever 😂 More like a fluffy, curly-coated “Golden at heart.” But don’t tell the purebred police, we’re keeping him anyway!)

Ash is looking for a forever family who will keep him through all of life’s changes… because that’s exactly what he (and every dog) deserves. ❤️🏡

This handsome boy has so much love to give. Let’s help him find the happy ending he’s been waiting for!

❤️🐾Ember🐾❤️
She may not be a Golden Retriever… but nobody told her that! 😂🐾
This gorgeous 5-year-old is believed to be a Flat-Coated Retriever. She came to us weighing just 39 lbs and, with some love and care, has blossomed into a healthy 49-lb sweetheart ready for her forever home.
She’s sweet, playful, walks nicely on leash, knows her commands, adores toys, and absolutely loves people.
Yes, she crashed the Golden Retriever rescue party, and we’re so glad she did. 🥰🐾

🐾❤️MEET CHARLIE! ❤️🐾

Gorgeous almost-4-year-old Golden with a birthday on Sept 15, hoping his wish for a forever home comes true! 🎂🏡

His family never reclaimed him from the shelter, so GRCGLA Rescue gave this handsome boy a second chance. He’s thriving at Wags & Wiggles: loves training, mental stimulation, people & other dogs, and is eager to please with positive reinforcement.

His new family will meet his trainers and can keep using Wags & Wiggles for training, daycare & boarding. Charlie is ready to make one lucky family VERY happy! 🥰
🎂 Birthday wish: forever home by Sept 15! ❤️
