Team 1836: The MilkenKnights

Team 1836: The MilkenKnights FIRST Robotics Competition team 1836 from Los Angeles, California. | Science • Technology • Relationships • Engineering • Art • Mathematics Louis, Missouri.

Since our inception in 2006, The MilkenKnights is a team built upon the shoulders of motivated students at Milken Community High School. We have dedicated ourselves to the pursuit of furthering our knowledge in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, animation, and programming. Our team has grown significantly since the beginning and while all of our original team has graduated, our curren

t members are standing strong. But our team lives on with new leaders and new points of view. Recently, we have expanded our interests into public relations and business. Our team is comprised of approximately 25 members, and we treat each one as family. We welcome all who have a passion to learn and a commitment to the team, and regard one another with the utmost respect. We have a history rich with great successes and many learned lessons, as well as numerous memories and great adventures spanning the Earth. Our team has traveled from Long Beach, California to Atlanta, Georgia to Tel Aviv, Israel, and Championships in St. We also try to apply our Jewish values not only to the way we conduct ourselves within the team, but also in our everyday lives. Our goals for the upcoming years are to stimulate students to pursue their interests in challenging competitions such as the FIRST Robotics Competition.
