We are devastated and shaken by the lamentable tragedy happened at the Sharif University of Technology. Demanding women's rights, human rights, and democracy for Iran should not be a reason for beating, shooting, and arresting students.
The academic community should spread the word and take a stance against this. Our heart aches for the people of our country, our home, Iran.
