UPRM Aero Design

UPRM Aero Design Aero Design is a well-respected special project at the University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus sponsored by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).

UPRM Aero Design’s main goal is to design a lightweight, high-lift, low-drag and cost-effective aircraft that has the capacity to elevate and sustain a defined maximum load. The UPRM Aero Design Team works all year round, giving members the opportunity to grow, personally and professionally by allowing them to apply knowledge learned in the classroom within the context of the design process.
