On this powerful day of freedom and forward movement, we honor a historic first for Children of Production LA (C.O.P.L.A.)!

Mr. Tyson’s vision has always been about legacy, leadership, and lifting our youth through music. Today, that dream marches forward as we proudly announce our first HBCU college-bound scholar, Xavier Floyd — the inaugural recipient of the C.O.P.L.A. Scholarship Award! 🎺🥁

After several years of dedication, discipline, and drumming with C.O.P.L.A., Xavier will be attending Southern University, carrying the rhythm and excellence of the HBCU drumline tradition into his next chapter. 🎶📚

Let this Juneteenth be a celebration not only of our past struggles, but of our future victories. Xavier is proof that when culture, community, and commitment unite, freedom leads to legacy.

📅 Save the Date: Join us Friday June 20th, for a special Scholarship Celebration in honor of Xavier and this momentous achievement.
