Most times we find ourselves in a place where we are overwhelmed not only by what life brings to you but what we get ourselves into. As a result the first thing that comes to mind is this is not working and I am done with this, it is time for me to leave! Our sister Hagar found herself in this same situation. It was working good, things were looking up and she got comfortable. She started feeling
herself and forgot her place in the overall scheme of her life. We often forget that there is still authority that must be followed even when we have been elevated! She is confronted by the angel of the Lord and he challenges her to do something that many of us hate to do...GO BACK AND MAKE IT RIGHT! She had to go back to her point of grace and submit to authority. She had to get her footing back and get back to basics. God told her that if she submitted herself to authority and grace that he would bless her beyond what she could even imagine. It is important that we get back to our point of grace. God wants to bless us but we have to get to a place where he can revive us, restore us and reboot us. We have to get ourselves back to the starting point, do the preliminary work and training and prepare for the race. We can’t run from what is troubling us, we have to deal with it head on and allow God to work behind the scenes on our behalf. This is the purpose of NIKAO. To get back to the point of grace and do the work that will allow us to become the women that God originally created us to be...back to our original intent, deal with the distorted views of ourselves and ultimately become the redeemed of God because he is Beer-lahai-roi...the God who sees me!!!!
