Emergency Network Los Angeles (ENLA) ENLA is the VOAD serving LA County. Fostering the 4 Cs of emergency management: Cooperation, Communication, Coordination, and Collaboration.

ENLA is California non profit, charitable corporation under IRS section 501(c)(3) The organization is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of representatives from CBOs and national disaster agencies, including American Red Cross and The Salvation Army, and non voting government representatives. ENLA is the Los Angeles County unit of the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD) and the Southern California VOAD. Committees make up the primary framework within which ENLA CBOs are organized. Committees currently established or in development include the following: Communications; Emotional and Spiritual Care, Mass Care, Development. New committees may be established as CBOs come together to form them. ENLA is a model of how CBOs can network during non-disaster times in order to better cooperate and help each other during and following emergencies and disasters. As a result of this cooperation, communities in need will be served more quickly and more effectively.

🚨 UPDATE: 10/14, 4:30 PM - RED FLAG WARNING, DANGEROUS FIRE CONDITIONS FOR MALIBU EXTENDED THROUGH SAT, 10/17, 8PM

🚨 Gusty Santa Ana winds, low humidity and high temperatures. Any fire start can spread quickly and grow large.

⚡SCE Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) are possible in the coming days due to the fire danger, on the Cuthbert, Galahad, Maguire, Merlin, Serra & Tuna circuits in central and west Malibu. Please check outage status on SCE's website: https://www.sce.com/outages-safety/outage-preparedness/outage-types/public-safety-power-shutoff-psps

✅ Prepare for possible power outages, cell service and traffic signal outages, and evacuations.

✅ Charge phones, keep vehicle gas tanks filled, gather emergency supplies and review evacuation routes and reunification locations. People with disabilities and horse owners should consider leaving early.

✅ Use extreme caution with equipment that may create sparks. Call 911 to report smoke or fire.

📻 Monitor emergency updates on AM/FM radio, including 99.1 FM KBUU using battery or car radios, which will work when power is out.
