Last week, our mobile clinic pulled into the parking lot of the Powder Springs Library in Cobb County Georgia and our team provided free, comprehensive eye exams and glasses to children at no cost to their families.
Kids got to personally pick out their own very "fashionable" and "stylish" frames. In four to six weeks, those glasses come back to the library and the children and their parents pick them up.
Vision To Learn's optician James Brooks said it best: "They don't even know there's leaves on the trees."
In Georgia, we are partnering with libraries across Cobb, Gwinnett, Clayton, Fulton, Henry, and Douglas Counties this summer.
A wonderful community effort is underway in Cobb County today to ensure local students have the clear vision they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
