We’re coming together for a Make Polluters Pay Week of Action this January 25-31, 2026 to support climate superfund and climate insurance legislation in states across the country. Join us January 31st to learn about the California Make Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act and how we can pass it in California.  

This legislation would require California’s largest polluters to pay fees into a dedicated fund to help communities recover from climate-driven disasters - such as floods, fires and storms - and to build resilience against future climate impacts.

The event will feature a panel discussion on the California Make Polluters Pay Climate Superfund Act and the work underway to advance this bill in California. Panelists will include experts and activists, followed by a Q&A session and Calls to Action for those who want to get involved.

Join and for a rally and march to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the January 2025 wildfires and demand an urgent transition away from fossil fuels in California.

As we witness extreme weather events in Los Angeles and the US invasion of Venezuela to control its vast supply of crude oil, it is clear that multinational fossil fuel companies are destabilizing our planet and sabotaging democracy. The only effective way to resist Big Oil’s power is to rapidly and equitably replace our state’s fossil fuel infrastructure with renewable alternatives.

Attend our action to help spread awareness about our movement and demand bolder legislation from our state’s leaders!
