Fountain Community Gardens We are an organic gardening community. The garden has been thriving since June 2009 with gardeners from the immediate neighborhood and surrounding area.

Provided by the City of Los Angeles, the Fountain Community Gardens provide an oasis of sustainability in the heart of Los Angeles. Spearheaded by LA City Councilman Eric Garcetti, the garden provides not only much needed green space in an urban area of the city, but a way for the local community to grow their own food, providing them the opportunity for cost savings and healthier living, as well as building a sense of community. Plots are available to those in the immediate neighborhood on a first come, first serve basis for a minimal monthly fee. Gardeners interested in having a plot can email [email protected] or call (323) 387-FCG1. For snail mail, please send to

🌼 We’re growing more than just a garden here. 💚

We’re growing friendships, nurturing curiosity, creating memories, and building a little community where everyone belongs.

Saturday’s volunteer day was filled with moments that reminded us why spaces like Fountain Community Gardens matter so much.

Little hands learning about the earth. 🌱
Neighbors coming together. 🤝
Flowers blooming. 🌸
And even a few curious garden visitors stopping by! 🐿️

Every plant, every person, and every small act of kindness adds something special to this space.

Thank you to everyone who helps make our garden a place where both people and nature can thrive.

🌿 What’s your favorite thing about spending time in the garden? Tell us below!

🌱 Many hands make a garden grow! 💚

What a difference a day (and some incredible volunteers) can make!

This past Saturday, our community rolled up their sleeves, grabbed their gardening gloves, and got to work giving Fountain Community Gardens some much-deserved TLC. 🌿

From clearing overgrown beds and pulling weeds to tidying pathways and caring for our growing spaces, every helping hand made a difference.

We’re so grateful for everyone who spent part of their weekend helping our little corner of Los Angeles flourish. It’s people like YOU who keep this garden growing! 🌻

Because the best thing we grow here isn’t just plants. It’s community. 💚

Thank you, volunteers!
