Fountain Community Gardens

Fountain Community Gardens We are an organic gardening community. The garden has been thriving since June 2009 with gardeners from the immediate neighborhood and surrounding area.

Provided by the City of Los Angeles, the Fountain Community Gardens provide an oasis of sustainability in the heart of Los Angeles. Spearheaded by LA City Councilman Eric Garcetti, the garden provides not only much needed green space in an urban area of the city, but a way for the local community to grow their own food, providing them the opportunity for cost savings and healthier living, as well

as building a sense of community. Plots are available to those in the immediate neighborhood on a first come, first serve basis for a minimal monthly fee. Gardeners interested in having a plot can email [email protected] or call (323) 387-FCG1. For snail mail, please send to

A huge thank you to all the volunteers who came to our May Volunteer Day. And a shout out to for supplying amazing sandwiches that fuel us to keep going!

Any and everyone is welcome to join our Volunteer Days which happen on the second Saturday of each month. We hope to see you at our next one on June 13th!

If you are a mom, know a mom or wish to be surrounded by moms, join us for the Mother’s Day picnic on May 10th 112A-2P at Fountain Community Gardens.

Arts & Crafts – Hands-on activities perfect for all ages. While supplies last.

Complimentary Photos – capture magical moments with loved ones with digital photo copies to download and share.

Bloom Bar - Grab a freshly made bouquet by a local florist. $15 per bouquet. While supplies last.

Entertainment - a standup comedy show hosted by Laugh Garden and Matt Curry.

Pack your favorite snacks and join us for a day filled with smiles, surprises, and plenty of photo-worthy moments!
