Anthony McDuffie Jr., from Grit, Grind and Glory (), embarked on a transformative journey when he visited Chowchilla Women's Prison. In this impactful story of redemption and resilience, Anthony's experience performing within the prison walls unfolded into a profound exploration of human connection and second chances.

Through the power of resilience, redemption, and hope, Anthony's visit brought forth captivating narratives of personal transformation.

One of the women at the prison excitedly said to Anthony, "You gave me motivation to write a book too." Such testimony speaks volumes about the impact Anthony had on these individuals who yearned for redemption. Another woman stated, "Coming from our shared background and environment, we are extremely proud of you because you are young, and it is not an ordinary thing to come back and accomplish what you have."

After recently giving birth to my second baby, I’ve learned that is important to focus on postpartum care in an environmentally conscious way. Not only does this benefit the health of both you and your child, but it also helps to preserve the environment for future generations. It can be difficult to be mindful of our environmental impact when caring for a newborn, but there are many ways that mothers and their visitors can do so.
