Stepwise is playing for our next contra dance, but did you also know they are raising funds to produce their first all-original album!?

Tuesday is the last day to support their Indie-Go-Go campaign, but you can also donate at the dance this Sunday!

To our California Twirl family:

We are cancelling our March 14 dance.

Although it's disappointing to cancel, we cannot responsibly hold a social dancing event in the midst of the COVID-19 outbreak.

As we become more informed about the statistics and watch exponential spread of infection in communities around the world, we have realized that mandatory hand-washing and "stay home if you're sick" will not cut it.

I've put a link in the comments with the best article I've seen on coronavirus, which lifts the curtain on the cases that are hidden by minimal symptoms and limited testing capacity, and yet which tell the true story of pandemic.

Please take care of yourselves, and the at-risk people around you.
