At Bridge Builders Foundation, we believe that developing future leaders extends beyond academic achievement and career readiness. It also includes preparing young people to become informed, engaged, and responsible citizens.
As part of our commitment to fostering belonging, agency, and civic responsibility, we are pleased to share the attached flyer regarding California's Youth Voter Pre-Registration Program. Through this initiative, young people beginning at age 16 can pre-register to vote and take an important step toward active participation in our democracy.
In addition to promoting voter registration, BBF provides education that helps young people understand both their rights and responsibilities as citizens. We emphasize the importance of civic engagement, community service, and informed participation in the democratic process. We also discuss how voter registration and civic participation influence community planning, public policy decisions, and the allocation of resources that impact neighborhoods, schools, and families.
The attached flyer contains a direct link to California Secretary of State Shirley Weber's online registration portal, making it easy for eligible youth to register or pre-register online.
