❤💪When insurance covers therapies, but not fully, and a child has complex medical issues, out of pocket costs make it impossible for some families. Harvey has multiple medical complications and now requires clinic level speech therapy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. With medically complex children, only 1 parent can work due to so many medical visits and special needs. ThinkAgain! Understands the importance of receiving vital therapies. When it’s needed but denied, we cover it. When coverage is insufficient, we make sure there are no out of pocket costs for families in need. 🩷 Call to action! Diagnosed just before her 3rd birthday, Montserrat received central nervous system directed chemotherapy for 2.5 years to battle Leukemia. 🎗️This interrupted her brain development making it difficult for her to learn in school. After a full neuro-cognitive evaluation revealed areas of chemotherapy-induced cognitive impairment, she began work with an Educational Therapist who is helping her overcome these learning deficits, and be able to do grade level work. We can help these children thrive, but only with your help! Volume up! As Brain Cancer Awareness Month of May comes to an end, we have 2 amazing brain cancer patients who's grateful parents reached out to let us know they graduated college!
