That means walking, rolling, driving, and public transit are equally safe, viable, and dignified. It means people are able to afford to live near where they work, play, or go to school. It means children aren’t breathing poisonous air. None of these candidates are beholden on the automobile, oil, and gas lobbies.

In the 1920s, LA had the largest rail system in the world! When we dismantled it, we also gave away the space it took up to cars.

As a result, some of our streets are overly wide, often with dangerous slip lanes.

It’s time to reclaim this extra space for people.
