Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School is a premier PreK-12 academic institution.

Rose and Alex Pilibos Armenian School is an academic institution under the auspices of the Western Prelacy of the Armenian Apostolic Church of America. For over 50 years, we have developed generations of young scholars into upstanding and outstanding citizens. We do so by showing and practicing what we stand for – excellence, integrity, heritage, community, and unity – while encouraging them to seek out and live by the values that they, their families, and community stand for.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. 💙

At Pilibos, it’s found in the friendships we build, the caring moments we share, and the community we create together.

Today, we pause to remember September 27, 2020, the beginning of the 44-Day Artsakh War.

We honor those who lost their lives and the sacrifices they, and their families, made in defense of our homeland. We carry their legacy with us in our hearts, in our history, and in the generations to come.

May they never be forgotten. 🇦🇲

Our 11th Grade Anatomy & Physiology Scholars took learning beyond the textbook with a hands-on chicken thigh dissection, exploring skin, muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, cartilage, and more. 🧬

They took a closer look at how the body’s structures are uniquely designed to perform their functions! 🥼

Day 10 in Armenia 🙏🏼

At the Temple of Garni, our Scholars connected with Armenia’s ancient history and heritage. 🇦🇲

At Geghard Monastery, its breathtaking rock-carved setting and spiritual atmosphere offered them a powerful glimpse into Armenia’s Christian faith and traditions. ⛪️

As part of our Lower Elementary Library Initiative, Scholars visited the school library, giving every class dedicated time to explore books, build strong reading habits, and become familiar with the library and its resources. 📚

Through weekly visits, Scholars will learn to independently choose, check out, and care for books while discovering the joy of reading. We’re excited to see our Scholars make this space their own and take advantage of all our library has to offer!

While in Armenia, our Scholars had the meaningful opportunity to visit displaced communities through the Community Wellbeing Project (CWP). Տոկուն Համայնք

CWP is a collaborative initiative between the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health and the American University of Armenia’s Turpanjian College of Health Sciences, supporting the health, wellbeing, and resilience of displaced communities across Armenia.

Our Scholars’ visit was organized as part of CWP’s efforts, led by Dr. Alina Dorian and Daniela Abrahamian (Pilibos Alumna Class of 2007), to foster connection and collaboration among local, regional, and diaspora communities.
