The Rabbit Hole is the debut feature film from filmmaker and NU c/o 2023 Alum Sam Jonas and it is having its west coast premiere TONIGHT at 7:15 at the LOOK Cinemas in Glendale!

It was made with a primary crew of 3 people, also NU Alums, producer Nick Schoenbrodt c/o‘23 and sound recordist Nick Kapp c/o ‘25. They shot the majority of the film in Jonas’s 200 square-foot NYC studio apartment. The film was written, directed, edited, shot, production designed, and sound mixed by Jonas. It is an “independent film” in the truest sense of the phrase. The film works to contextualize human’s relationship to each other, civilization, and the natural world, and questions whether we exist in harmony with it/each other, or are actively destroying our only home while distorting our collective sense of self. All in all, seven Northwestern Alums worked on the film and it had it World Premiere at the Brooklyn Film Festival!
