During the Summer and Fall 2025, Coro partnered with the City of Los Angeles, Bureau of Contract Administration to deliver a four-part leadership program aimed at strengthening team culture, communication, and organizational effectiveness across executive, senior leadership, and bureau management teams.

Through this series, BCA leaders deepened their self-awareness, explored the connection between individual and organizational values, and strengthened communication and collaboration under pressure. They applied adaptive leadership practices to strengthen trust, engage in productive conflict, and lead collaboratively through complexity.

The program equipped leaders to lead with intention, enhance team cohesion, and translate insights into actionable strategies for their teams and the Bureau as a whole.

From August through November, Coro partnered with the Junior League of Los Angeles to deliver a six-part Coro X program designed to strengthen ethical, effective, and collaborative board leadership.

Across the series, Junior League members explored the essential functions of nonprofit boards, deepened self- and situational awareness, and practiced leading and facilitating meetings that are purposeful, inclusive, and results-oriented. Through reflection, interactive exercises, and real-world scenarios, they developed skills in communication, decision-making, conflict navigation, and strategic group leadership.

By the program’s conclusion, Junior League members were equipped to lead with intention, leverage EQ to adapt to different leadership styles, and contribute meaningfully to board governance and organizational impact. The series emphasized the value of perspective-taking, interpersonal agility, and collaboration in achieving shared goals.

In September, Coro partnered with Rainbow Services, Ltd to deliver a facilitated Coro X session focused on strengthening team communication.

During the session, participants explored how assumptions can shape the way we interpret information and interact with others. Through reflection and dialogue, staff practiced pausing, testing assumptions, and cultivating curiosity, skills that build mutual understanding and foster stronger cross-functional collaboration.

This Coro X session equipped Rainbow Service, Ltd team members to communicate more intentionally, navigate challenging conversations effectively, and contribute to a more collaborative organizational culture.
