The San Fernando Valley Branch of the USGBC-LA Chapter was formed in the Summer of 2013 and has a mission to be the driving force behind the green building industry and the sustainability movement in the region. The SFVB holds events including: a speaker Series with educational speakers geared toward various elements of green building and/or sustainability, networking events usually at local gree

n spaces for breakfast or after-work drinks. The SFVB is also a source of low-cost Continuing Education (CE) credits for LEED, AIA and other green designations. The Branch Members and Steering Committee are available to provide speakers on Sustainability related topics to existing SFV organizations and actively participate in SFV community events, job fairs, green expos and more. The SFVB networks and partners with other SFV organizations and invites experts to speak at SFVB monthly meetings. We also partners with other USGBC-LA Branches, local utility companies, city officials, and private businesses as well for sustainability related content.
