Last night at Studio City’s historic Campo de Cahuenga—the site of the 1847 Treaty of Cahuenga that ended the US-Mexican War—another LA City Council District 2 Tenants’ Rights Workshop occurred. These workshops result from a collaboration among LA City Councilmember Adrin Nazarian, the Coalition for Economic Survival, and the LA Housing Department. CES Executive Director Larry Gross provided an overview of renter protection laws. After that, there was a question and answer session with the tenants present at the event. A special thanks to Adrian Grigorian, Council District 2 Council staffer, for organizing the event.

As part of our on-going in-person tenant educational programs, we invite you to join District 2 LA City Councilmember Adrin Nazarian, the Coalition for we invite you to join District 2 LA City Councilmember Adrin Nazarian, the Coalition for Economic Survival and the LA Housing Department for a free Tenant's Rights Workshop, Monday, September 21, 6:30 PM at Campo de Cahuenga (Across from Universal Studios), 3919 Lankershim Blvd., Studio City, CA 91604.

Information will be provided to tenants on their rights, how the LA Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) works, eviction protections, immigration rights of tenants, and how recent changes in State and City laws may affect them.
