Ready, Set, Gold

Ready, Set, Gold Ready, Set, Gold! pairs Olympians and Paralympians with schools to make a difference in the lives of the youth through sport. The Olympians Since it began, RSG!

Building Champions in Life Through Sport brings 50 Olympians to 50 Los Angeles Unified District (LAUSD) Schools and matches 5th, 7th and 9th graders with them to improve health and prevent chronic disease through physical activity and healthy living habits. Olympians exercise with the students throughout the school year and provide role modeling in structured presentations to anchor exercise, health, good nutrition and fitness as lifelong goals. has reached 25,000 students each year.

Ready, Set, Gold! is proud to partner with the LA Rams and USA Football for the Long Beach Girls Flag Football Jamboree, May 30th at Cabrillo High School! Over 20 Girls Flag Football teams will compete in a tournament and all youth are invited to clinics in flag football, rugby and track & field with RSG! Olympians Gia Trevisan, Nia Toliver and Tasha Danvers!

Donโ€™t miss this community event celebrating the development of flag football as it debuts in the LA28 Games!

๐ŸŒŸLast week, we teamed up with ICEF at the Expo Center for their 2026 Olympic & Paralympic Day! 500 students attended from 7 schools, played 9 sports, and worked with 12 Ready, Set, Gold! Olympic & Paralympic athletes!

Tasha Danvers, Prince Mumba, Isaac Jean-Paul, and Tiffeny Parker led track & field ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ Nia Toliver, ICEF alum, led flag rugby ๐Ÿ‰ Kim Glass led volleyball ๐Ÿ Raj Bhavsar and Cassidy Krug led gymnastics ๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ and Jack Oโ€™Neil, Noelani Day, Lani Cabrera, and Anicka Delgado led swimming๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ! Students also got to play basketball, soccer, rowing, and flag football!

๐Ÿฅ‡At the closing ceremonies, students were awarded medals for following the Olympic & Paralympic values of excellence, friendship, respect, courage, determination, inspiration, and equality.

Thank you to ICEF for your partnership on this great event, weโ€™re excited to continue these impactful programs leading up to the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games and beyond!
