As summer continues, the need for support doesn't slow down.
🌇💛Our Back-to-School Donation Drive is now underway. Help students start the school year prepared by donating backpacks, notebooks, calculators, writing supplies, binders, folders, and other classroom essentials.
While many school-year resources become less available during the summer months, the women and children at Alexandria House continue building toward stability every day. Summer is also one of the quietest seasons for charitable giving, making community support especially meaningful. For thirty years, Alexandria House has shown what happens when women and children are welcomed with safety, support, and possibility. WomenSpeak 2026 is where we celebrate that story — and write the next chapter together.
On September 16, we’ll convene philanthropists, community leaders, advocates, and neighbors to ask bold questions about housing, economic mobility, and justice — and to dream bigger about what our city can become.
Expect courageous storytelling, interactive breakout sessions, and space to imagine new systems that center women’s voices and lived experience.

Huge thanks to all the performing magicians, everyone in attendance, and Lineage Performing Arts Center for hosting over the weekend. The fundraiser was a SOLD OUT success, three nights in a row!

The magic show featuring world-renowned magicians and Magic Castle headliners raises money in support of the Alexandria House, a charity nonprofit organization assisting women and children experiencing homelessness and trauma in Los Angeles.
