Casa Esperanza Immaculate Heart Ministries: Blythe Street has provided a center for its activities and services since May of 1992.

Casa Esperanza The IHM Blythe Street Project empowers the 3,000 residents of this low income, immigrant and crime-ridden neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley to access educational and charitable resources necessary to change the circumstances Families visit Casa Esperanza seeking advice or access to one of the many programs. Different groups meet in our safe spaces to learn and grow with us as

we continue to do our part in the community. This has been our mission from the beginning and we plan on making sure that the people are what come first here. Without us it is hard to say where most of the families would find the same kind of refuge from the troubles pertaining to living in this neighborhood.

The kids in our Leadership Program created sculptures to share how the current state of the world makes them feel. The kids picked up the supplies at Casa, but all their work took place at home and we facilitated via Zoom.
