Teach Coalition and the Becket Fund achieved a monumental win, forcing California to stop excluding religious schools from special ed funding. Now, Jewish day schools can support students with services like speech therapy, academic aides, and counseling. This is just a glimpse into what the future can bring.

Incredible news for New York City private, religious schools.

The New York City council is set to approve a landmark bill that will approve millions in SECURITY funding for private religious schools.

With anti-semitism and security costs on the rise, the only ways religious schools can protect their students is to pass these rising costs on to the parents.

Not in New York. Not anymore.

The city council is approving $15M is security funds for religious schools.

This is a landmark bill that Teach Coalition has helped fight for.

California wants the same funds. Support TeachCA in the fight to get the same funding and benefits available to private religious schools in other states.

Teach CA engaged tens of thousand of voters across LA County.

Our mobile voting center traveled across the city educating people about the political process and encouraging them to vote, especially in the local elections.

We worked with nearly 50 local Jewish schools and synagogues to reach voters through Shabbat morning programming, volunteer phone banking and outreach events.

Our job is not done! We will be here - talking about the issues and continuing to educate people on opportunities to engage and make a difference!

Washington - A federal appeals court ruled 3-0 today that California is violating the law by discriminating against religious parents and schools in its special-education programs. In an opinion authored by Judge Kim Wardlaw and joined by Judge Morgan Christen and Judge Mark Bennett, the court held that “we easily conclude that the nonsectarian requirement fails the neutrality test” required by the Constitution.

This is a huge win for religious families everywhere who want their children with special needs to be able to get a religious education AND access special needs funding under IDEA!
