The Green Initiative Fund (TGIF) is a fund for student-initiated sustainability projects/events on campus.

TGIF's mission is to build a more sustainable UCLA community through student-initiated projects, greener campus/student events and human ingenuity.

Happy Thursday!! We're so excited to go see all the applications and events you're planning to host this spring, but we have an important announcement about project impact forms! We require all funded projects to submit an impact form within one week of the project completion date listed on your application. Failure to submit one will make your organization ineligible for future funds. If your event(s) happened in fall or winter quarter and you forgot about this requirement, you have until Wednesday, April 17 to submit!

Find the impact form in your email, our website, or go to the link in our bio to fill it out today!

Introducing TGIF Tokens of Appreciation, a new version of the Student Support Fund!👏🎉 When you apply for Tokens of Appreciation, you can receive up to $150 per quarter as compensation for your impact on sustainability at UCLA.

Notes of interest:
- The maximum amount is $150/quarter, and these tokens are not considered hourly wages, stipends, or honorariums.
- We prioritize tokens for those with significant or on-going commitments to sustainability projects (e.g., leadership positions or major contributions)
- If there are any specific questions about the application or you’re seeking further clarification, please send us an email or attend our weekly office hours!

REMINDER! 🗓 The deadline to submit your applications to the Main Fund is THIS FRIDAY at 11:59 PM PST! The second round of Mini Fund applications for this quarter are due at the same time.

UPDATE: We have decided to EXTEND the deadline for Main Fund applications to WEEK 4! We are still considering applications that are submitted by tomorrow (end of Week 2), the original deadline. This way, these applicants may receive funding on time if they are approved and need funds by a specific date.

We are looking forward to seeing more applications come through in upcoming weeks!
