On December 9, White Ribbon USA proudly marked White Ribbon Day at the headquarters of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Washington, D.C. Our CEO, Veronika Mudra, delivered a powerful speech, addressing the critical connection between domestic violence, substance use, and mental health, particularly among our nation’s veterans.

“Our mission is to bring awareness, compassion, and action to these overlapping issues,” Veronika shared. “Together, we can create a future where no one suffers in silence, and every individual has access to the support they deserve.”

The event served as a reminder of the importance of collaboration between advocacy organizations, government agencies, and communities in tackling these pressing issues. We are grateful to the VA for hosting this impactful day and to everyone who stood with us to promote change.
