L.A. based 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to rehabilitate abandoned animals & promote forever homes through compatibility-based placements.

When we rescued Beople in 2010, he was skin and bones. Completely malnourished, it had become too painful for him to eat because of his rotten teeth. With practically no hair left on his ears, he seemed to have almost given up. But a little TLC went a long way and after dental surgery, his appetite and health improved. As you can see from the picture, Beople is a completely different dog today. He

is the light of our lives and the inspiration for Beople’s Buddies Animal Rescue (BBAR), which was created on the premise that Every Buddy Deserves Love. At BBAR, it is our mission to rehabilitate abandoned animals and promote forever homes through compatibility-based placements. We provide our furry companions with a full circle of care that includes medical treatment, individualized one-on-one attention, socialization, and training – essentially a very good foster care system to prepare them for a successful transition into their next home. Our vision is to further support the interconnectivity of animal life, human life, and the environment through saving animals from euthanasia. We bring abandoned animals into a nurturing and loving environment where they are connected with human companions to begin the healing process. Every time one of our buddies is adopted, we celebrate by dedicating a tree in their honor through Tree People, a local environmental nonprofit. Proceeds directly benefit the planting and care for L.A.'s community and local forests, ensuring a livable and sustainable future for you and your new furry family member to enjoy... Today we had a visit from our best buddy alum, Rex! He had a full spa day which included a bath, groom, pawticure, and lots of treats! He’s living his best life 🐾 ❤️

*UPDATE* Lovie has the beginning stages of congestive heart failure but we are keeping her comfortable. She’s on meds and is coughing less which is wonderful. She’s able to sleep through the night and enjoy short walks with her new buddies 🐾 please consider donating today to help her medical care. ❤️‍🩹

It’s day one of the new year, and it’s day one of Olenna’s new life!!! She’s so cute and with some TLC she’ll be on the road to recovery. We’re so happy we could save her, and get her to a foster home. She was rescued from San Gabriel Valley Humane Society ❤️

Our best buddy Betty’s parent had to go into assisted living and couldn’t take her along. Thankfully one of our favorite alum families stepped up and gave 15-year-old Betty a forever home for her twilight years 🥰 We are so happy she will continue to be loved and cared for❣️

‼️DONATIONS NEEDED‼️ This baby kitty was found on the streets. We were able to get him immediate care at our vet office to treat his eyes. They are so swollen, his eyeballs were barely visible. Any amount you’re able to donate, will go directly to his vet care and is tax deductible. ♥️

Harold is the ultimate senior best buddy and true companion. He is best suited for a lowkey home to match his laidback personality. He currently goes to the office during the week with his foster mum and is the perfect work mate! He will not do well on his own for long periods, so someone who works from home, can bring their pup to the office, or is retired will be a great fit for him.
