If you could add one right to the Bill of Rights, what would it be?

HOPE is proud to present “A Bill of Rights for Our Future,” a multidisciplinary art project that invites leaders from across sectors to reflect on how the enduring principles of the Bill of Rights can guide us into the future—and what additional rights, freedoms, and protections they believe could help strengthen democracy, dignity, and opportunity for generations to come.

As the United States approaches its 250th anniversary, 11 leaders share personal visions intended to spark conversation about the future we want to build together. While each contribution reflects the perspective of its author, the project is grounded in a deep appreciation for the Bill of Rights as a foundational document of American democracy and an invitation to consider how its promise can continue to evolve and endure.

Explore all 11 contributions and add your own vision for a future right through the interactive submission feature on the website.

Today, Californians are casting their ballots and helping shape the future of our state.

The choices made in this election will influence the policies, priorities, and leaders that impact our communities every day—from access to quality health care and economic opportunity to representation in the decisions that affect our lives.

HOPE is proud to be part of the Health, Wealth, and Dignity Agenda, a community-driven vision developed by the Ad Hoc Latino Leaders Group that promotes a stronger, more equitable California where every community has the opportunity to thrive.

As voters make their voices heard today, the Health, Wealth, and Dignity Agenda serves as a reminder of what is at stake and the values that should guide our state forward: thriving families, equitable opportunities, and dignity for all.
