ART INSTITUTE for CHILDREN (AIC) is an international school(a Platform) providing free workshops and training in CREATIVE LEARNING and SACRED ART. Many established artists from around the world are hand picked to teach art in their local communities. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

Providing free training and education to children in fine arts such as Stone/Wood Carving, Painting, Sketching, Drawing,

Sculpting, Bronze casting and many more...

To provide free coaching and lessons in ancient organic Indian musical instruments such as Flute, Tabala, Ghatam, Mrudangam, Sitar, Veena, Shahanayee, Basuri, etc. To provide free basic ‘English Speaking’ lessons to children for successful communication. To provide basic Email, Internet and Computer skills for successful communication at a Global level. To provide basic understanding of Philanthropy and Humanitarian values to give back to the society. To provide an International Platform where the students of Art Institute for Children (AIC) can showcase their Art/Talent at a Global Level. To establish a ‘Mobile’ Institute(AIC) promoting and delivering AIC’s objectives in all the rural parts of India helping and educating children to learn Art and further showcase their works at an International Platform. To provide ‘Ancient Indian Stone/Wood Carving’ related research opportunities and facilities to Artists from around the world. To provide ‘Volunteer Teaching’ opportunities at AIC for established Artists from around the world. To provide workshops where AIC children/students can travel and learn ‘On location’ at various Art and Educational Destinations/Institutions through out India and abroad. To provide free coaching and lessons in all kinds of Indian Classical/Folk Dance. To PRESERVE and PROMOTE ancient Indian arts and culture that is being lost in the chaos the modern world. Weekend workshops are provided in the fields of Stone Carving, Sculpting, Painting, Drawing, Sketching, Storyboards , Dancing and Playing Indian Instruments and Filmmaking. We begin out our journey from HAMPI, a remote rural part in the southern part of India. Hampi is located in the State of ‘Karnataka’. It was recently declared as one of the UNESCO World Heritage lands. Other Locations:

Ladies and Gentlemen,

We are pleased to announce our first West Coast Art event to be held in Los Angeles, California.
Allison Cortson will be doing an art project with the children at Montessori Discovery Garden on December 4th in Los Angeles. This project is sponsored by the Art Institute for Children.
