9 years gone. Today we’re reminded by the positive energy you gave despite every challenge thrown your way. So much in this world has changed, but our core principles remain the same; to live with courage, creativity, and a zest for life—to Live Like Noah.

2025 is going to be a big year for LLN! We are entering our 7th year supporting families and children who live with life threatening lymphatic dysfunction due to their congenital heart disease. We are also entering our 7th year supporting cutting edge research and clinical programs to provide and develop life saving therapies for these children. Live Like Noah Foundation has made huge strides and we have you, our supporters, to thank for this.

But there is more work to be done in 2025; lives to improve, training to be completed, and research to be conducted.

All donations this week will be matched, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. (LINK IN BIO or please visit our website)

Your support will help two crucial programs this year.

💛 SYMPOSIUM & TRAINING - A teaching workshop, to be held this year by Dr. Sanjay Sinha, Co-Director, UCLA Congenital Lymphatic and Intervention Program, and Selera Medical, a medical device company developing minimally invasive therapy for congestive heart failure. The training will teach pediatric interventionalists on visualizing and accessing the lymphatics as a way to spread awareness and build expertise on lymphatic interventions.

💛 FAMILY GRANTS & CARE PACKAGES - Help us alleviate the financial burden that hospitalizations and traveling for treatment bring upon families. Our care packages bring comfort to children and their families during hospital stays.

These two programs directly help children impacted by lymphatic and congenital heart disease and we need your support. Every dollar donated will be matched this week up to $10,000.

Thank you for standing with us!

We want to take a moment to share with you what would have been Noah’s 21st Birthday. Today has been spent enjoying the foods she loved with a cheers in her honor. It’s been a full day of reflection,
stories, and full hearts knowing that her love and kindness continues to spread through all the work we do here at Live Like Noah Foundation.

Six years ago today, we launched LLN with the mission to positively affect the lives of kids and families living with congenital heart and lymphatic diseases. Your support has allowed us to fund efforts
that have enabled UCLA’s lymphatic intervention team to travel to hospitals around the world, treating patients with lymphatic disease who would not have survived without these interventions. These efforts have extended to several hospitals across the United States, Argentina, and other countries, with future dates planned. While on these trips, the UCLA team is working to develop the capacity at these hospitals who will then be able to grow their lymphatic intervention programs and treat patients at their institutions. LLN has funded the broadcasting of live cases at international interventional conferences, demonstrating that these patients can be successfully treated. Furthermore, the ongoing LLN support has driven critical research to develop new techniques and treatments
for these complex diseases, ultimately translating into improved outcomes and saving thousands of lives globally.

Beyond research and training, LLN has been able to provide financial grants along with emotional and advocacy support to heart and lymphatic families in need. Through the Reading Is Healing program, Noah’s stories of diversity, female empowerment, and a sense
of adventure has reached kids around the world.

Her love also continues to shine through each of you. When we put goodness into the world, we keep Noah’s legacy alive. To help continue the important work we do, and in honor of Noah’s birthday, please consider making a donation today. Thank you.

With love & kindness,

We are so excited to share that Manda and the Fish received a stellar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review from Literary Titan! Our feeling is that Noah would be beside herself in this moment!! Below is an excerpt. Please visit the Reading is Healing page on our website to take in the full review. Thank you to the April Pulliam and the editorial team of for this. Such an honor.

“Manda and the Fish is a captivating and thought-provoking tale that beautifully addresses themes of resilience, self-confidence, and the breaking of traditional gender roles. Noah Bella Michaelis weaves an engaging narrative that is both culturally authentic and emotionally resonant, making it a must-read for anyone seeking inspiration and insight into the importance of bravery and curiosity.”

This past week, we had the greatest pleasure of reading Manda and the Fish to all the fourth grade students at Hesby Oaks Leadership Charter. Thank you Kathie Yonemura and Stefani Romero for inviting us! It’s was such a honor to meet all of the students, who are not much younger than when Noah wrote this story at age 11.

We loved speaking to the kids and answering all of their inquisitive questions from Noah’s writings, to the making of this book, to questions about Noah’s CHD. We hope they were left with inspiration to follow their dreams, their passions, and of course, to keep writing!

Through our Reading is Healing program, we were able to provide copies of Manda and the Fish to Hesby’s school library and to each fourth grade student, courtesy of a LLN donor. We are so thankful.

You can support Live Like Noah’s Reading is Healing program by purchasing one of our books or by making a direct donation to the program.

If you would like to inquire about reading & speaking engagements, please DM us or reach out at [email protected]

Valentine’s Day marked 15 years since Noah received her very first care package from the Hopeful Hearts Foundation while recovering from heart surgery on Valentine’s Day. It was a poignant moment to deliver care packages on this day as it’s a beautiful reminder that Noah’s message of thinking of others is still being passed down to others. We are so proud of Harrison (center) and all that he’s done to raise awareness for CHD and carrying on Noah’s legacy of giving back to others. Harrison took on the project of having a lemonade stand and raising over $3500 for these care packages. Thank you Harrison and the Guerrero Family!!

“Fundraising for care packages, buying and putting the packages together, and then finally being able to deliver the packages for heart families in the hospital has been one of the most meaningful experiences in my life. It felt so good to know that my contributions have put a smile on so many heart families’ faces and let them know that they are not alone. I’m honored to continue Noah’s legacy and inspire others to do the same.” —Harrison Guerrero, 15 years old
