Young people in North Somerset facing challenges and barriers to learning will receive one-to-one mentoring thanks to a grant from Somerset Freemasons to JHF Youth Charity 😍

The grant of £5,000 will help local young people who are facing challenges and barriers to learning. Young people who are referred to JHF are matched with a mentor or tutor who work alongside helping them develop the confidence and skills they need for the future 💪

Last Thursday, Rodney, our Lodge Director of Ceremonies, presented a cheque for £500 to Ms Brenda Clark, the founder of Youth Cancer Trust Charity, at their premises in Tracy Ann House, Westbourne, on behalf of The Lodge of Meridian 6582.

The Youth Cancer Trust is a charity based in Dorset that provides online support and free therapeutic well-being holidays for young people aged between 14 to 30 who are living with or beyond cancer.
