Bicycle Kitchen/La Bicicocina

The Bicycle Kitchen/La Bicicocina is a nonprofit bicycle repair education space. A room full of used parts that are priced on a sliding scale.

We have:
Almost any tool required to repair bicycles and our Cooks have a wide range of mechanical knowledge to help you figure out how to make the repair. Bike stands to hang your bike from to make it easy to access all parts of the bike

A wheel truing room with truing stands for fixing whobbly wheels

A work bench with a vice for hub repair/adjustments. We also carry new parts like chains, t

ubes, tires, cables, housing, headsets, headset spacers, and other small parts. These are priced at the full retail price so that we are not undercutting local bike shops. We have donated bikes and frames you can choose from to be your project bike.
