We are dedicated to ending the illegitimate legal doctrines that prevent the American people from governing ourselves. “Today the business once transacted by individuals in every community is in the control of corporations, and many of the men who once conducted an independent business are gathered into the organization, and all personal identity, and all individualities lost. Each man has become

a mere cog in one of the wheels of a complicated mechanism. It is the business of the corporations to get money. It exacts but one thing of its employees: Obedience to orders. It cares not about their relations to the community, the church, society, or the family. It wants full hours and faithful service, and when they die, wear out or are discharged, it quickly replaces them with new material. The corporation is a machine for making money, but it reduces men to the insignificance of mere numerical figures, as certainly as the private ranks of the regular army.

The Texas-based oil giant Exxon financed right-wing think tanks to help spread climate change denial across Latin America, according to newly revealed documents published by The Guardian and DeSmog. The Exxon effort was intended to push countries in the Global South to be "less inclined" to support U.N. climate treaties.

“The real reason they sank the boats isn’t fentanyl — it’s black gold.”
We keep hearing the headline: “drug-boats from Venezuela.” But what if that story is diverting you from the real agenda?

Venezuela holds the largest proven oil reserves in the world, with ~303 billion barrels.

What we see now—naval strikes, sea “incidents,” fishing-boats vanishing—is being sold as “anti-drug operations.” Yet the country they’re targeting is sitting atop the world’s richest energy prize.

A recent piece in The New Yorker flagged that the global “war on drug boats” near Venezuela may be serving a different aim: resource-extraction and geopolitical dominance.

So, let’s ask: Is the narrative about fentanyl and fishermen really about stopping traffickers — or about controlling oil infrastructure, shipping lanes, maritime zones and strategic leverage?

If we care about justice, we must insist on:

Full transparency about which vessels were struck, who they were, what evidence was used.

Independent investigations into civilian deaths — not just “enemy narco-boats.”

Whoever profits from Venezuelan oil must be held accountable — and so must those using the “drug war” pretext to cover resource grabs.

Democracy isn’t safe when military power is used to enforce resource access, and when human lives get written off in the cross-hairs of global energy politics.

The fight for the We the People Amendment becomes even more urgent: when corporate and state power merge around resource control, ordinary people and their rights become collateral
