Femme FATAL Film Festival showcases female-led short form projects in the horror and sci-fi genre. Over the last four years we have cultivated a supportive community and created a unique space to uplift filmmakers that are underrepresented, where their exceptional films can be seen, and awarded. Founded by Writer/Director Amelia Joyce and Producer Roberta Sparta, this one-night festival sells out every year and we are back on October 18, this time at LOOK Cinemas in Glendale. Submissions are currently open on Film Freeway.

We're excited about the table reads at our Networking + Writers Group Live event on July 11th in Hollywood!

In the carousel, you'll see some of the actors who will be on hand to read the works-in-progress scenes. To have your scene considered, get your ticket before midnight tonight (June 26th), and indicated that you'd like to participate when you check out. We have gotten lots of requests, so we will get through as many as we can!

Register when you get your ticket by June 26th to be eligible to have your 5-page (max) work in progress scene read by pro actors. We have folks who have been on Broadway, won Emmys, and are Second City Improvs. This is your chance to sit back and take notes while hearing your work out loud. Submission is not a guarantee, but we will try to get to as many as we can!

In an effort to help build Art Department/Grip/Carpenter kits, we are awarding DEWALT power tools sets courtesy of DeWalt Grow the Trades. The objective is to help women in the crafts build their kits to help them get work and charge a higher kit fee.
