Today we celebrated some survivors and their children at the beach for Mother's Day! We had snacks, played in the sand, and every mother received a little succulent. 🪴
The sobering fact is that mothers make up a large percentage of the demographic we work with, and broken familial relations are all too common.
We are deeply proud of the mothers we serve, and grateful for all the mothers and mother figures who support us at After Hours. Thank you for all you do. Together, we can end the cycle of oppression.
